COULD be the bendix in the starter is broken?

More than likely a failed battery which isn't supplying enough amperage, start with testing that

Not enough charge in your battery or your starter, get a jump start if your car turns on then your battery was the issue. Then find out if your battery needing replacement or your alternator is to blame. If nothing happens check your starter relay in your fuse box. Swap with a diffrent relay and attempt to turn on if nothing still your looking at a new starter or more serious problems

I had this to happen to me last month different car, it was a fusible link to the starter. Take it to a good garage.

Fords are famous for corroding the INSIDE of the positive ( red wire ) battery cable clamp. Pull that clamp off & scrape the inside of the clamp & the sides of the post with a small pocket knife blade & see if that helps. If it does, most all car parts stores carry a small wire brush designed just to do that job. Get one & do both of the terminals.

I had some oil leaking so my husband rinsed off the left side of the car under to hood to get oil off now it will not start it was running great before he did this we have replaced the spark plugs and put a new fuel. Pump in and a fuel pressure sensor new battery it will crank when you turn it over but it will not start. What are we miss in please help
  • 03 ford focus ZX5 will crank but not start I have a 03 Ford focus ZX5. There was a loss of power to the engine while using the on ramp for a highway. Pulled over for 2 minutes and then it drove fine for 20 miles to my house. Next day started fine and in less than one mile there was loss of power again and then wouldn't move. Shut off engine and now it will not start. Replaced the battery, fuel filter and checked spark plugs.
