Never - engines don't have vin #'s; those are for the vehicle chassis… Engines will have code #'s on them
Where do you find the engine code numbers?
- Where in the UK can I hire a classic american car for self drive, ie, as driver not passenger? I want to hire a classic car preferably something like a dodge charger or ford 69 gto for a day or two as a gift to a petrol head, obviously I want him to be able to drive the car himself. We're London based but could be in surrounding areas to pick up the car.
- Self Adjusting vs Non Self Adjusting Clutch? What kind of a clutch does a 1998 Ford ranger XLT 2wd 2.5 4 cylinder use from the factory? I have checked several forums and the answers are conflicting. Does anyone by chance know whether this type of truck needs a self adjusting or non self adjusting clutch?
- Can Ford trace my vin number and give me details about previous owners on my 66 mustang I have a 1966 mustang and i heard that if you go to a Ford dealership that the can give you the list of owners, but i don't know if they can since the vin number is only 11 digits and not 17. - How to self repair the sealing on a windshield? So I have a 2003 Ford Tauraus. Starting this fall, the sealant on the windshield has started to come up and away from the windshield. The windshield itself is in good shape, and it is not loose or leaking at this point in time. I currently have no money to fix the sealant at this point in time, so I'm wondering if there's a way to self repair it until I have the funds. Any suggestions?
