Varying ride quality between different makes of cars?
I own and drive a 2001 Ford Mustang GT. I frequently however get to drive a 2013 buick lacrosse. I also test drive many other different cars. What I've noticed is this. Fords seem to have a stiffer and bulky drive quality but not in a bad way it has its benefits. GM tends to have a loose smooth and easy feel to them not up tight like the ford. Chrysler has a ride quality thats a mix of the two others. What my question is is why are they so different between manufacturers?

The Mustang is considered sporty. If you went and rode in a Chevy Camaro you'd find it rides like the Mustang. Hi simple enough that is why some people prefer different makes as they drive differently. That is why some change makes. A FORD is basically trying to always be a race car. The rest want to be more comfortable.

- Why do the colors of average quality cars doesn't seem to be diverse enough? Brands like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, Acura, Kia, Dodge, etc. Tend to sell their cars with boring and opaque colors like gray, black, dark red and pretty much colors with no vividness. Don't you guys think they would sell more cars if they came up with more interesting colors like purple, yellow, green and other colors that could be more appealing to the eye?
- Why do car companies sell in different countries under different names? Why are companies like Chevrolet selling their cars under names like Holden in Australia? I'm not sure if Chevrolet sells in Australia but I do think they do. If they already sell in Australia, what's the point of selling the same thing under Holden? Another example is some Ford cars are sold under Lincoln, and Chevrolet sells the same thing under GMC. Buick and Opel? What's with this?
- What do cops drive different cars? Does it mean anything? I mean yeah there's the regular cop cars, Ford Explorers, they mostly drive that here, and the tahoes, do you need to be a higher rank? To get to drive tahoes, Ford Taurus, challengers, and chargers? Whateever happened to the ford crown Victorian too, I don't see them around anymore…
- My truck shakes up and down near the steering wheel when I ride between 40mph and 45mph. Why? For the past couple years, my truck has been shaking when I drive between 40 and 45mph. It doesn't happen as much when I accelerate past that, but when I maintain in a 40 mph zone or slowly accelerate from that speed it's a little bit annoying. My truck is a Ford F-150 V8 Automatic 1999 and has 230k miles. I've been in a tiny wreck once with it, but I'm sure it was going on before that.
