Trading in my Mustang Ecoboost for a GT?

I rececently bought a 2016 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium with Performance package it was 36,500. I gave 12k down and am currently financing 24,000. I'm regretting my decision and want to trade it in for a GT Premium. I've only had it for 3 months and it currently has 600 miles. I want to know what to do. Should I trade it in now or should I wait few a months?

Added (1). I'm also 20 so my insurance rates are high. I'm turning 21 in 3 months so my insurance rates should go down a bit. I'm currently paying $400 on the car and $315 on insurance.

You can go to a few dealers - or even call them - to see IF they are willing to deal with you BUT don't be surprised if none of the are willing to deal

You can do that, but you'll take a beating on the trade in value. Ecoboost Mustangs have a very steep depreciation curve compared to GT's. The longer you wait (up to a point) the less the car is going to be worth. Your car will have a trade in value of around $28-$30k, a GT with the same options will be worth $34k-$37k by comparison.

  • Trading in a vehicle? I was just wondering when you can trade a vehicle, I've geen told anytime. Also been told, after a year etc… So when can you trade one in? And if you have to stay with the same dealer like ford to Chevy
  • What would my 92 ford ranger be worth trading for? It's a 1993 ford ranger 5 speed, 4 cylinder, 2.3 liter with 390XXX miles on it but it still runs great. Any thoughts of what I could trade this for?
  • My local Dodge dealer wants to buyback my 5 months old 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost? I received this letter from the local Dodge dealer saying they're short on 2017 used Ford Mustang, therefore, they'd like to buy my Mustang at above market value. I'm curious at what kind of offer they'd give me. I know this is some BS they're trying to pull, but what do you guys think?
  • 2015 Ford Mustang Fastback V6 or the 2015 Ford mustang 2.3L ecoboost? I'm trying to decide which of the two to get I heard online the eco boost is surprisingly a little faster then the V6 edition. it gets roughly 4 more MPG then the V6. the ecoboost will be about 1500 more then the V6 fast back lets assume its going to be my main vehicle. which one should I get and why? And which is superior? Your thoughts please. I'm not a gearhead so don't get too technical on me without using things I'll understand lol
