My local Dodge dealer wants to buyback my 5 months old 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost?
I received this letter from the local Dodge dealer saying they're short on 2017 used Ford Mustang, therefore, they'd like to buy my Mustang at above market value.
I'm curious at what kind of offer they'd give me. I know this is some BS they're trying to pull, but what do you guys think?
It's BS! They want you to trade in your Mustang on a new Dodge.
No, they don't. They want to sell you a new car. I have thrown those things away for years.
They want to buy your Mustang ONLY if you buy their new Dodge (the expensive one!)
Your car isn't 5 months old, it's nearly 3 years old. Not really sure where you are getting that from. They will give you what the car is worth which will be in the single digits.
I think it is BS. They want to sell you another vehicle.
No, they want to lure gullible people into their dealership to sell them a new car. Think about it, why would a Dodge dealer want to buy your Ford?
All of those letters from car dealers are to try and lure you into the dealership to sell you a new car. Car dealers are in business to make money for THEM, not to give YOU a great deal.
FYI your 2017 car is NOT 5 months old.
It's BS. THEY NEVER LOSE MONEY.
They'll buy yours low and sell it at a higher price to another sucker.
Then they'll want to sell you a new one.
That gives them a PROFIT when they buy yours, another when they sell it and still another when you buy a new one.
- What would win, a 2017 Subaru WRX STI or a 2017 Ford Mustang 3.7 V6 if they raced I have a bet with a friend that the STI would win and he thinks the mustang would, I don't need statistics like "the mustang has 300hp and the STI has 305" and yes I'm aware the driver makes a huge difference being standard vehicles, thanks for the answers
- 2015 Ford Mustang Fastback V6 or the 2015 Ford mustang 2.3L ecoboost? I'm trying to decide which of the two to get I heard online the eco boost is surprisingly a little faster then the V6 edition. it gets roughly 4 more MPG then the V6. the ecoboost will be about 1500 more then the V6 fast back lets assume its going to be my main vehicle. which one should I get and why? And which is superior? Your thoughts please. I'm not a gearhead so don't get too technical on me without using things I'll understand lol
- Why does 2017 ford focus 1.0L has less mpg than 2017 honda civic? It has tiny engine as geo metro like it supposed to be 50 mpg? The manual focus has 30 city 40 hwy mpg which is average for an 4 cylinder subcompact, while the automatic 1.5L civic makes 2 gained mpg difference.
- My Ford dealer wants me to bring my car in for a 20K mile inspection. Is this necessary? I bought my 2013 Ford Fiesta brand-new from a Ford dealer in the summer of 2013. Recently I got a letter from them that I should bring my car in to the dealer for a 20,000 mile "inspection". Is this really a necessary inspection, or is it a ruse to get me to bring in the car so they can hunt for "issues" and then pressure me into "fixing" them for some outrageous price? Sorry but I'm suspicious of car dealers… I guess it shows, huh?
