Suggestions about sub/amp in ford mustang 2017
So currently it has stock six speaker setup with stock head unit. My nearby electric store suggested me hertz 1000watt sub worth $269 and a pioneer 500watt sub worth $140 brand new. The sub is in the box as well and wiring for $60 and labour $147 abd speaker mounts for $60. He said since you are getting full system. He will hook me up with some discount worth $60-$70 and it will cost whole between $700-$900. So my question is is it good deal and if anybody has this system and it it good enough and it it worth getting.

Keep shopping. All you need is one sub in a good cabinet and an amp. Look only at the power rated as RMS watts. If it's a hardtop car, 500 rms watts is good unless you want all the neighbors to hate you for shaking their windows a block away.
- Can you install amp and sub into a 2003 Ford Taurus? Well I'm pretty sure you can but I noticed you have to buy the aftermarket raido kit for the car which is like 40$. And it includes the wires for heat and all that but just making sure I will be able to hook a custom head unit up to the wires inside the car?
- What would win, a 2017 Subaru WRX STI or a 2017 Ford Mustang 3.7 V6 if they raced I have a bet with a friend that the STI would win and he thinks the mustang would, I don't need statistics like "the mustang has 300hp and the STI has 305" and yes I'm aware the driver makes a huge difference being standard vehicles, thanks for the answers
- Suggestions for Ford Mustang GT CA smog legal exhaust system? I just purchased a 2005 Mustang GT, and I'm looking to improve the sound while still being California emissions legal. Don't know much about exhaust tuning… I love how some cars crackle and pop on liftoff. What can I do to get that? Upgrading performance and cost aren't a big deal to me, I just want it to sound better than stock and give it some more noise.
- For ford vehicles why is there sub models like XLT XL etc. Are those related to Trim levels? I'm trying to know more regarding the Submodels for Ford Vehicles I'm confused with XL, XLT lauriat, if they are related to the trims or the vehicle package
