Is this Mustang worth $5500 dollars?
I found this 1999 Ford Mustang V6 with 160,000 miles. The owner said that it is in great condition. He has have the car for the entire life of the car. But I don't think it's still worth $5500. He also said that the price is firm what should I do?
Go to Edmunds.com or Kelly Blue Book and get a real good estimate of the car's value. I did that recently on the sale of a car and was offered exactly what was predicted.
If the price is firm and you don't want to pay that price, then you don't buy the car. Seems that $5500 is about the going price form my research. But it does depend upon the condition.
Maybe. It depends on it's condition, as determined by a professional mechanic. "Owner says that it is in great condition" is not good enough.
Hi so haggle with him over the price if you want it. Or walk away.
Hell no. Even a GT of that age and mileage isn't worth $5500.
"He also said that the price is firm what should I do? Thank you "
Print out a copy of the NADA value of the car and laugh in his face.
Seems too high for the age and mileage.

Small oil leak from oil pan gasket. Is it worth it or is the owner asking for too much considering the damages?
