Looks like a bad radio. Get your installation seen by a car audio shop first before condemning the radio. You can try removing it and connecting it directly to the battery (use an inline fuse) and check for current with a clamp ammeter (wait about 30 minutes) when it is turned off. Draw should be very small, typically less than 10 milliamps.
Turn it off when you're not using it.
Try again, but follow the directions.
- Just had new heads and gaskets installed on Ford Ranger 4.0, along with thermostat and radiator cap. After reaching operating temp, upper? Radiator hose swells to full capacity as if it can't handle more pressure. After engine cools off, hose returns to normal size. Should this be happening?
- I have a 1999 ford ranger, the battery is drained every morning. I traced the drain coming from my left head lamp,? Although the lamp still works but why does it still drain the battery… What do I do? it is the left head lamp that is draining my battery! But why, it still works… Maybe moisture in it?
- My Ford Focus 2010 radio won't work. I Replaced the battery with a new one and now it's locked? I don't have the manual and all it says on it now is "Ford Focus". It doesn't even show the time. No matter what I press, it just stays on "Ford Focus".
