How to negotiate on a new car and how low can you price the car?
I'm trying to buy a brand new 2014 car and these are my options. Ford Mustang I've seen it priced as low as 17,500
Chevy Mustang 18,300. Volkswagen Passat 16,700. How do I go about negotiating and what how much do you think I can get any of these cars for priced at the lowest.
NEVER negotiate price from full retail down. Always start at the invoice price and negotiate up. Make them an offer startying at the invoice price minus all the rebates and incentives offered. Make the dealer justify charging you more than the invoice price. Don't try to get them to discount the price down from full MSRP.
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
- How much do you pay to ford if you want to buy a new car and pay monthly? I was wondering, if I want to buy the new 2015 mustang, how much do I pay each month to ford if the car is $26,500. First car for me
- How does New car pricing work? Will demand raise the price? I want the 2015 mustang ecoboost. (Not asking your opinion on the car, thanks). Ford just released the prices, and they said $25,900~. Does that mean that's what I'll pay at a dealer? Excluding taxes and title? How much should I expect to pay excluding tax and title?
- Do I have to add the finance price to the listing price? So I'm currently looking online for a car. I saw that there's a 2012 Ford Focus available and the list price is $13,409. However, under the list price it says the finance price is $6,998. I'm not sure if that means that that will be the price of the vehicle if I finance? Or do I have to add the listing price and the finance price together and that would be an estimate of the amount I would pay when I'm done financing the vehicle?
