How to figure out if an engine can fit inside a car?

How can i tell which engines fit in which cars. Basically i wanna build up and upgrade an engine until i feel good with it then when i have enough money to restore an old car, i'll drop the engine into the older car. For example i could build up a 90's camaro then brop it in an older car, example-69 mustang

With enough effort, you can make anything fit into any car, but if you are looking to do it cheap and easy you usually will want to use engines from the same manufacturer. So for example putting a chevy camaro engine in a 1969 Mustang might be sort of a strange thing. The 1969 Mustang will retain more value if you put a Ford motor in it, preferably something that would have been available at the time such as a 428CJ, which wasn't produced in the 90s so it wouldn't work for your concept.

There are some kits out there that allow you to do just what you're describing. On that note for 90's engine you will need as well to have the computer to go with it along with the harnes's. If you're paying some one to do this then look to spend money, if you do it on your own you will encounte the usuaul problems that the mechanic would and still cost you some scratch, just not as much

With enough time and money you can do anything. I built and installed a Dodge 360 in my 41 Plymouth business coupe along with many other updates. Paid $550.00 for the car and now have about $20,000.00 in it. All part of boys with toys.
