How many miles can you get out of a well maintained 2006 Ford Mustang?
I'm thinking of buying an automatic v6 mustang with 66k in the odometer for $9500… Will it last me throughout the next 4 years of college? Will it still run good well into the 150k miles?
As long as you keep it well maintained, do your oil changes in time, don't put too much strain on the engine and all the cars components, then yes the Mustang will last for a very long while. In fact, any well maintained car can easily reach 200,000 miles. And with ford, nearly all of their cars, if well maintained, last a while.
Go for it.
- When writing a book, can you use well known brand names? Without getting sued or needing permission I mean? Like if I say my character wanted to eat a Hershey s bar, they drive a Ford, or they went to Walmart, is it legal for me to do so, or can I get in trouble?
- I have a 97 Ford Ranger, 4.0, in good shape, 102,000 miles and it doesn't start as well as I think it should. It cranks strong, and has new? Motorcraft plugs and fuel filter. I've cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body and the truck runs fine and there's no misfire. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I think the truck should start when I turn the key instead of having to crank 2-3 times. I've also installed a new IAC valve. Any suggestions on how to get the truck to start better?
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
- How many miles is too many? - 2012 Ford Fusion? I have a couple of questions for you guys… I found a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL that I like. The problem is it has a LOT of miles for a 2012, 97k to be exact. Is this something a car buying should stay away from? My other question is how well do 2012 Ford Fusions hold up? How many miles can it be expected to last if it has been taken care of? I'm looking for a used car 2009-current for around or under 13k. Have suggestions? Feel free to let me know!
