Help buying my first car?

I'm interested in getting my first car, and I'm very soon heading to college. Of course, I have a low budget, but I'm hoping my parents will help me out as a graduation gift. For a number, let's splurge and say max, $35,000.

I'd like a car with better than average safety and crash ratings, something at least a little bit stylish. An efficient mpg ratio would be great (for a number, I prefer over 20 mpg). I will want to play music in my car, so a standard audio cable is a must have. I plan to find an early model of the car, used, so the price will be reduced. Comfortable handling and general use of the car for the driver and passengers is preferred. No trucks, something closer to a sedan or coupe.

A couple cars I find interesting are the Ford Mustang and the Camaro. These cars are high on price, good looks, and low on mpg, but I find them interesting, for examples.

You could afford a base new BMW such as a 2 series or an Audi a3. If you prefer a cheaper car maybe a volts wagon. These are all nice German made cars!

Get yourself a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe. Beautiful car that will have all you want and is as dependable as they come. Also will get great mileage at 36 highway and around 30 city. The 4 door sedan is also very nice but not a sporty looking as the Coupe. With $35,000 you can even buy a brand new 2014 Loaded EX with leather and have money left over.

You will need a co-signer first of all and if you want a 35k car remember you will need minimum monthly payment of $800 no less unless you have 15k down payment get a sedan not a compact car but remember sedan do waste more gas than compact. Sedan get kia optima 22-32k 500-750per month Toyota Camry 22-27k 500-625per month compact car honda civic 20-25k 400-550per month Toyota corolla 17-22k 250-450 per month

HONDA Accord is your best bet! Great MPg speakers and also has usb plug in. And stylish with so much room
