Does a 305 4 bbl come factory with a 1977 ford mustang cobra?
I'm thinking of buying a cobra but I wanted to know if the 305 engine came standard with it and how much horsepower and torque the engine has
The 1977 had a 302 cu in (4.9 L) option, not a 305. A 305 was a GM built engine. The 302 did have a four-barrel carb and was rated at 260 hp (194 kW) @ 5800 rpm and 269 lb·ft (365 N·m) @ 4800 rpm.
I Googled it. 302, no 4 brl, (2 brl) 134 HP.
That's a "302"… Not a "5.0L"… Some of the 302's components became metric-dimensioned in 1980 with the origin of the "5.0L" as well as the cranktrain imbalance factor changed from 28 oz. To 50 oz. This is a huge item when changing flexplates/flywheels and harmonic dampeners.
- Would I be able to trade in my 2009 Honda Civic for this 1998 Mustang Cobra? http://www.maximumautosearch.com/1998-Ford-Mustang-SVT-Cobra-Englewood-Colorado-80113/5205315 My dream car has been a Mustang Cobra, I bought the civic because I thought I was going to college but I was denied. Well now I have a really good job and I can afford to have this Cobra. Would I be able to trade it in even though I still owe money on the Civic?
