Would you recommend this car as a daily driver? And what about maintenance, fuel costs etc?

For $1,100? Hell yeah, it's worth nearly triple that. However, make sure it is not a scam and the seller is indeed the named title holder.

This sounds too good to be true. Pay a mechanic to inspect it thoroughly. If he says there are no major problems (because there are going to be some minor ones), I would definitely recommend buying it. As always, assume that anyone you're dealing with on craigslist is a scammer, make sure you see the title first, and when you make the transaction, go to the DMV or AAA with the seller to make sure that everything is correct.

For $1,100 it must be a piece of junk or something is not right here.

I doubt it has 85k miles at that price. Or the transmission is bad. Seems low for that mileage and year. Normally at 85k miles, it would sell close to four to seven grand. I would steer clear of this listing. The owner isn't being totally honest
