DISCOUNTS FOR FORD WORKERS?
I'm a 17 year old male looking to buy a shelby mustang. One of my relatives work for Ford so i'm looking for a discount. I was wondering what type of discount i could possibly get. Additionally how much would it cost for Insurance.
" I was wondering what type of discount i could possibly get"
Shelby's typically aren't discounted, dealerships are only allocated a very limited number of them per year and they tend to sell for well over sticker price. Supply vs. Demand.
There are also a variety of discounts, X Plan, Z Plan, etc. The discount you get is dependent on how you're related to the person who is entitled to the discount and what that person does for Ford (corporate, sales, supplier, etc.) So you're going to have be more specific.
". Additionally how much would it cost for Insurance"
If you have to ask, you can't afford it. It should also be noted that you have to be 18 years old to purchase a car.
The insurance for you will be through the roof especially with that make and model. Ask your relative what his/her discount is probably going to be about the same for you. Had in laws years ago that got all there new cars by going straight through the manufacturer but that was years ago so don't know what the savings were
I can help you, give me 20 min and I'll be back.

- Ford taurus, ford focus, ford escort or mercury cougar? Looking for a new used car, anyone know if any of these are bad cars? They're all in the 2000-2005 range I'm leaning towards the focus cause it gets good mileage and has good storage, also I've heard it does alright in snow. Anyone have any bad experiences with any of these cars or have any bad feedback?

- Ford, GE etc are raising prices with mass lay offs because of Trumps trade war with China how do blue collar workers feel about Trump now? Just curious about how this makes a person feel to hear this. It typically takes about two-Three years for the new presidents policies to start to affect the economy and it seems to be the case here as well. How does this make you as a Ford worker or advanced manufacturing worker feel? What's your opinion on it?
