Car power lock doesn't work all the time?
I have a 2000 Ford Mustang. My power locks works to lock the car but not to unlock them. I push the button on the drivers side and it makes a noise and tries to move but doesn't. Any suggestions?
Do the power locks work good with the key FOB? If so, the switch is what'is going bad, or the connection is bad at the switch.
Door lock actuator sounds like it is faulty (probably part of the whole latch assembly) (don't really get that age mustang over here but ford falcons of similar age are all intergrated) but for the falcon's the main problem is a snapped shaft in there, which you can buy separate, and rebuild your current actuator
Hi simple the locks and locking mechanism are all worn and need replacing.
- Why all of a sudden Ford doesn't count anymore, and now it is all about the sham of beer that counts? What is next for the democrats to come up with? Could it be that the democrats will come up with now Kavanaugh has to much toe jam to be a Supreme Court Justice?
- Why does my car rev high all the time and drive without me touching the gas? It revs at stop lights and when sitting idle at drive throughs, and when I'm driving highway speed. It'll rev up to almost 3000 rpms especially in idle. It is a ford Taurus 2005 with 99,700 mi on it.
- I have a Ford Ranger 4.0 and the AC doesn't blow very cool air. I want to add refrigerant for very 1st time, never have added to any vehicle? I'm using a gauge to test the pressure. With AC on max the needle moves between 25 and 45, the blue normal range. The compressor cuts on at 45 and off at 25. This happens continuously. The outside temp is 80 degrees. Not exactly understanding what I was doing, I added a little refrigerant and now the needle goes to 47 in the yellow range. Will this do any harm? Can I remove the excess refrigerant? If so, how? Is the system fully charged? If so, why isn't the air cooler?
- Would a ford focus 2012 with 80k miles last a long time given that i treat it right and only take it within the city from and to work? As long as the car would last me 5 years minimum but i don't know jack about cars so if i could have an expert give me a diagnosis i would gladly appreciate it
