Can a 2012 Nissan Rogue tow a 1999 Ford Mustang?
I'm moving to California and have two cars. I plan on driving the Rogue and towing the Mustang, but I don't know much about cars and their limits. If I rented a trailer and put the car in there would that make it easier for the rogue to tow?
From everything I'm seeing with a FWD Rouge has a towing capacity of 1000 lbs. And the AWD 1500 lbs MAX. So no it can't haul the Mustang.
Sell the Mustang, buy one in California.
- Which car is the overall to keep for a couple of yrs? 1999 Nissan maxima, 1999 Altima, 2006 ford Taurus or 2002 buick lesabre? All of them have low mileage as the Taurus have 69000 and the maxima have the highest of 123000. They all under 1100 bucks.
- Why can't powerful cars tow like trucks can? I don't know if this a dumb question, but I don't understand why you can't, I know you aren't supposed to but why. If my 230 hp Ford Ranger can tow 6000lbs, why can't the 845 hp dodge demon tow something, it has way more hp, way more torque and 2 more cylinders. Does it have something to do with the suspension not being able to hold the weight or what?
- What car would be better for me 2012 infinity g37 sport or a 2012 mustang gt? I'm 18 and I'm getting ready to get a new car in 2 months. I've been driving an 03 Ford Focus and I'm ready to upgrade. I'm a very responsible driver and I've been driving for almost 4 years. So I wanna know what would be the best vehicle for me. And what is more reliable and cheaper to maintain?
- Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Nissan Altima, Ford Focus, Kia Forte? I'm having a really hard time choosing between which car I want. I'm 22 years old, I'm in college. I want a car that's fast, reliable, good on gas, and one that's able to keep its value.
