2013 Ford Mustang stereo?

I want to upgrade my sound system in my mustang and part of that I would like a new stereo is it possible to take the high end stereo that comes from the higher model mustang and put it with my base model mustang. I don't like the look of aftermarket and I would like a screen display and I would want to install the ford made stereo. If this is possible how hard is it and also how much would the stereo cost?

It would be cheaper to go aftermarket, you're going to need a new center stack dash kit to relocate the HVAC controls, and that's going to be a couple hundred alone, and there's the cost of the radio as well. For a decent stereo and the install kit and dash kit and the install, you're looking at around a grand for everything

The Shaker and Shaker Pro systems will be much more expensive as you'll need a new wiring harness, and the OEM center stack dash. The Shaker and Shaker Pro also came with more speakers than the base model did and some external amps as well, In order for it to function you'll need to procure all that stuff. If you go to your dealership's parts counter, you're going to be spending a several thousand. It would literally be cheaper to sell your car and get a 2013 V6 Premium with the Shaker system from the factory. If you buy used parts, it'll still be more expensive than aftermarket, but not as much as buying the OEM parts new.

The upgraded stereo should fit right in, & the wiring should already be back in there.
