2005 Ford Mustang or 2007 Dodge Charger?
I'm a nineteen y/o female and I'm selling my Pontiac GP GTP that I have had for years. I'm then going to be able to buy a new (used) car. I'm deciding between a 2007 dodge charger and a 2005 ford mustang. They are both the same price and have around the same amount of miles on them and are in good condition.
My question is which one, in your opinion, do you think I should get?
I really like them both. I just don't know what would be better for me? Again, I'm a 19 y/o girl.
Well, the Charger is a full-sized 4-door car, so it will be more practical to live with.
However, I think the Mustang would be more reliable, especially if you get one with a manual transmission.
The 4.0 V6 is the same engine Ford used in Rangers and Explorers, and while it makes about 100 horsepower less than the current V6s, it will last forever.
The 4.6L V8 used in the Mustang is an upgraded version of what Ford put in the Crown Vics, and will also last forever. It only makes about 300 horsepower in Mustang trim, which is what the new 4 and 6 cylinder Mustangs make. But it should give you a long life. Couple it with a manual transmission, and you'll have a car that will never die.
Defiantly the Mustang in my point of view the charger prob would give you to much problems, however it is a 4 door which comes practical but it depends what you do.
- Where do you hook the battery charger to jump start 2007 ford E-450? Have a 2007 ford E-450 box truck. Battery is dead and wondering were you hook the charger to jump start the battery.
- Which car should I get: Mustang vs Charger? I have a choice between 2 cars, price isn't an issue… Car 1: 2008 Ford Mustang 4.0 V6 Manual 55, XXX miles Ford Racing performance/appearance package Car 2: 2007 Dodge Charger 3.5 V6 Automatic 57, XXX miles No additional add-ons I'm purchasing at the end of the month (March 2016) so I would like some opinions by then.
- How much would it cost per month to insure a 2005-2007 Mustang? I'm 16. I read somewhere being a girl and having high grades could bring the premium down some. The sticker price on the car would range from 6k to 9k. My mom is on Ford Insurance and she has 2014 Ford Tarus on her insurance right now. Would it be cheaper if she put the car under her name or under mine? And the price per month?
