What kings of lawyer do I look for when I did not receive adequate care at the a emergency room?

I injured my arm almost a year ago because I did not have insurance I waited to go to the emergency room. After 2 months my arm was tingling from my finger tips all the way up the arm to my arm pit. My arm is twisted at the elbow and wrist and is obviously dislocated. I have muscle loss in the lower part of my arm to my wrist. When I went to the emergency room the doctor sent me away with ibrophren to which I denied and asked for an MRI. He refused to further investigate my arm and told me go see a doctor. I told him that I could not afford a doctor and don't have insurance and that my arm was hurting and tingling everywhere. To no avail. I was sent out with only aspirin. Nearly a year later next week I still have an injured arm that hurts every single day and still can't afford insurance. My arm is becoming stiffer and still hurts. I plan to sue the hospital for lack of adequate care but don't know who to contact.

You can sue them but you won't win. You chose to wait 2 months after your injury to go to the ER. At that point, your situation wasn't an emergency, it was a pre-existing condition. The ER is responsible for stabilizing you in the event of an emergency, that's it. Their correct role was to advise you to see a specialist.

It's a sin that the US is so against universal health care. This is the result of that.

Why did you wait so long to go to the emergency room? You caused, perhaps, worse damage to your arm by not seeking care much sooner. You are looking for a good pay day by bring able to sue - which you can - but you will not win. You also even ignored the advice that was given to you by the emergency room doctor.

Neither the ER nor the hospital is obligated to treat non-emergency cases. Yours was not an emergency. You would lose the lawsuit. While the type of attorney you want is a medical malpractice plaintiff's attorney -- you are not going to find one who'll take your case. They know you'll lose and they'd then be paid nothing.

please see your local government's indigent care health system if you are a US citizen. If you are not a citizen, medical care is the responsibility of your home country and INS may help you get deported.
