Where is the crankshaft position sensor on a ford ka 2003?

Self explanatory. Its near end of crankshaft so it can read the 'teeth' on a ring affixed to crank. Check for a wire /sensor. Look at bell housing as most are fitted using flywheel as impulse source though variants and markets can have sensor fitted to front of crank.

  • My Ford Transit headlights turn on in off position and turn off in the on position? I'm a new driver, just passed my test. My van has some issue with the lights: namely, the lights turn off in the on position when the dash lights come on, and turn on when they are supposed to be off. This means that I'm driving at night without dash lights as I need to have the lights switched off in order for my headlights to be on. Might this be an electrical issue? Would anybody be able to give me advice and possibly know how much this costs to repair?
  • How to take off my throttle position sensor? Screws stuck? I have a 1991 mercury cougar which is a part of the ford family. Forums say that the screws are glued in the factory. Is this true and I only have a screwdriver which I can't put leverage in because she it is in a tight Space. And I can't put torch in there
  • What is in the D1 position in my 2001 Ford Focus Power Distribution Box? I had a mobile mechanic come by a few weeks ago and the idea was that he would replace this part because it was obviously bad. But he never came back, I want to know so I can go buy one myself.
  • 460 ford cranks in on position? I replaced the ignition and starter solenoid. It still cranks in the on position. Could the wires have melted in the harness?
