Is there any senator who would've voted any differently on the Scotus confirmation if Ford did not exist?
Is there any senator who would've voted any differently on the Scotus confirmation if Ford did not exist?
Yeah, 3 or 4 senators perhaps. LOL
NO. They were determined to have this justice no matter what he may or may not of been guilty of.
1or 2 most likely not many
NOPE! Turdbin from Illinois would have voted "will suck young boys" oh wait he did that anyway., you ARE RIGHT, NO CHANGE
Heidi Heitkamp and Lisa Murkowski.
Repubbies intended to confirm Kavanaugh either way. Power is more important to them than fighting corruption.
Possibly. The way they should have handled the situation would be to have let him get confirmed and challenged/impeached him after the election and when they had some kind of proof.
Like they're trying now.
Feinstein was so set on stopping the confirmation that it might never work, and she has probably cost them the November election as well.
Maybe one might have voted differently
Even before Ford came forward, many Democrats said they were opposed to Trump's nominee before he even announced it was Kavanaugh. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was confirmed nearly unanimously. It'll never happen again.
Yes. Heidi Heitkamp and Lisa Murkowski would presumably have voted for him. I believe that Heitkamp, who voted to approve Neil Gorsuch, has said that she was going to vote to confirm Kavanaugh before the sexual assault allegations. It's possible that one or two other red state Democrats, perhaps Joe Donnelly or Claire McCaskill would have voted for him too.
- Why does Dr. Ford exist? I don't like snowflake liberals and I don't like liars. Why hasn't she been arrested yet?!
- Why did Ford silently disappear after Kavanaugh's confirmation? She can file police complaint in Maryland against Kavanaugh as Maryland does not have statute of limitations for sexual assault charges. Maryland police even announced that they are ready to investigate the issue if Ford files the complaint But the woman silently disappeared after Kavanaugh got confirmed.
- Isn't it likely the reason Senator Dianne Feinstein sat on the information she got from Dr Ford instead of immediately turning it over to? The Chairman of the Judicial Committee like she should have is that there wasn't much of a case and realized when the Judicial Committee had the information investigated they would likely find nothing instead by sitting on the information till the end it could help to get some of the RINO's to vote against confirmation
- Is it true that the real reason for Nikki Haley's resignation was she supported Ford and did not like Kavanaugh's appointment to SCOTUS? That is what democrats are saying. But is there any truth to this? Did she hint at why she resigned?
