Is a used 2009 Ford Crown Victoria with 175,000 Reliable? - 1

Could be, i have seen cars with 300000+ run great and then some cars die befor 100000 just depends how it was taken care of

The Crown Vic was very popular with the taxi companies, & 300,000 miles was not a big deal. And, as a rear-drive car, dropping-in a 'new' engine is not a big deal. So, the real $$$ is in the body sheet metal & the interior.

Here's the 2009 Vic for $2500 with 175,000kms. Hmm I'm still thinking if I should buy it or not. The seller says it runs great n all, but i don't know. What yah think?

Depends on how well it's been taken care of by the previous owner

No. Money pit.

Generally speaking of the 100's I've sent to auction… If it was not an administrators car x the mileage by 2.5 for state troops or 4 for city police due to run time, 2009 may have an hour meter… And 2500 is high anyway for a vanilla vehicle.( maybe silver, tan, blue or black).Lots of auctions would love you to show up… Check usa.gov there's links to government auctions in your area… Reliable? Yes, but they are fleet cars and changing parts is the cost of doing business… Rebuilding differentials, due to axles going bad sending shrapnel through them… Transmissions that rarely make 100k miles… Etc one cab company that bought from us said they average about $3000 in repairs to make them serviceable/ready for paint decals and equipment… At about 140k miles…

That many miles in 6 years it was either a cab, a cop car or it's mostly highway miles. I had one in my shop once that had over 400,000 miles on it and it still ran great even though the body looked beat up.
