I have difficulties with my car after i replaced motor mount?

I have a 2002 ford escose sedan and i get really fustrated cause of engine rough vibrations people give me alot of reasons but i don't know at all.
One thing i now did was replace the front motor mount the stock one was torn, and i put a aftermarket mount, now i tried driving it but it still vibrates and now it feels worse what's happening after replacing the mount what can the next symptom be any ideas thank you.

I only replaced one motor mount cause the rest are working fine!

Tune up the motor

Just a thought, but when I replaced one engine mount as it was torn, I had to lift the engine so high on the other 2 in order to release the old mount and get the new one in, and I'm not sure if I've damaged the 'good' ones while replacing the damaged one!

Thing is though, if you think about it, by replacing a wobbly torn mount with a working one, it's linking the engine to the chassis more securely and hence there will be a bit more vibration than there was, but this vibration will not be loose engine vibration, it's just that the vibration you have now is what it should have been to start with!

Hope this helps!

Although you change one engine mount, and you think the others are fine, if it is a engine vibrating problem, you might want to check the other mounts again. Here is a video on how to diagnose a bad motor mount which might help:

If you know it is not the motor mounts, it has to be an idle issue. Is the car vibrating at idle or when you are driving? If it is while you are driving, maybe you have to get your wheels balanced.
You might have to do a tune up (spark plugs, wires, etc) if the car is vibrating at idle. The engine should be nice and smooth, if not, a tune up might be what you need.
Here is how to diagnose bad spark plug wires which could cause your car to vibrate from running poorly
