I HAVE A2000 FORD WINDSTAR STARTER WENT OUT REPLACED IT WITH 2 OTHER STARTERS THEY DID NOT WORK SOMEONE TOLD?
I was told that the year starter was a canadan starter and is not innerchagable i would have to use motorcraft is this correct
Help us out bit here and tell us what the windstar is doing wrong.
And what size engine so one of us can make an attempt to look up a starter.
- Why is it that when someone owns a Chevy/Ford/Mopar they feel the need to rip on every other brand of vehicle? I mean it's as if they were getting paid to advertise their opinion. Just because you're a loyal Ford fan boy doesn't mean that Chevys are complete garbage. I drive a Ford but I don't go around trash talking everyone who likes Chevys.
- Why did my 2000 Ford Windstar just blow all off the tranny fluid out. But now its not leaking anything? I drove it with a trailer attached all day then I dropped the trailer off and drove home. When a was turning on to my street the car violently shuck but kept going I pulled into my drive way and looked under my car and big puddle of tranny fluid everywhere. So I filled it up this morning and drove it 75 miles and when I got back I was still full on fluid and nothing was leaking. So WHY?
