How to give an idea for something to like Chevy or ford or something?
I have an idea that I know would make a lot of money for them but I want to tell them, not anyone else about it, and should I try and patent it first?

Put your idea into words and google it with the word "patent" chances are someone already invented it. Pretty hard to be original on a planet with 7 billion people on it.
Patent it first. The first step to a patent is to describe the idea or item on paper. Draw a diagram of it and mail it to yourself. That way, the postmark is your guarantee that you were the first to think of it. Do not open the letter. After you get the patent, then go to Chevy or Ford. Then they will steal it from you like they do everything else.

- Give me proof that chevy beats ford? Ok… I need a website that specifically shows that chevys are better than fords. So id like specs that show specific evidence that chevys are better than fords.
- Could a Chevy guy like a Ford girl? Say there was a girl and a guy who began talking and getting to know each other. They hit it off well, and were talking about things they enjoy. The guy said he loves Chevy. He has one, and it is his love. The girl says the same thing… But about Ford. Could the guy still want to be with her?
- Give me an idea what's blowing out the electrical system on my 1999 Ford Windstar? Two new batteries, two new alternators, two new serpentine belts in the past two years. Most recently a new battery (last one was only less than halfway through its warranty) a new alternator, and a new belt with tension pulley on July 20, 2015 - two months ago. Check charging system light started coming on a few times starting about 5 days ago. Then another lost day of work today. Anybody got a clue? I'd really appreciate any help.
