- When I bring my car to get an oil hange at a ford dealership, do I just pull right into the service garage? I've never gotten one I'm a new driver. I was wondering if I'm supposed to pull into the garage (the desk and stuff is in the garage) or park, tell them I need an oil change, and wait for them to tell me to pull my car up.
- My 2000 Ford Taurus won't shift into fourth gear is it ok on a 700 mile round trip drive? I have a 2000 ford Taurus and it doesn't shift into fourth gear anymore. Its been that way for 2 years. It runs fine just doesn't shift into fourth gear and the transmission light does come on after a while of driving it. I was wondering if it would be ok to take it on a 700 mile round trip drive? I know its not good for it I just need to know if I'm going to be stranded on the highway somewhere because my trans went out.

My car is due its third service beginning of next year it will be three years old then it is a ford ka the newer but basic version no central locking etc I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how much it will be for its third service? I've been told that the third service is a big one? Like basic if nothing needs doing i just want to save up every week until then any help will really help thank you!
- My Ford dealer wants me to bring my car in for a 20K mile inspection. Is this necessary? I bought my 2013 Ford Fiesta brand-new from a Ford dealer in the summer of 2013. Recently I got a letter from them that I should bring my car in to the dealer for a 20,000 mile "inspection". Is this really a necessary inspection, or is it a ruse to get me to bring in the car so they can hunt for "issues" and then pressure me into "fixing" them for some outrageous price? Sorry but I'm suspicious of car dealers… I guess it shows, huh?
