GMC vs Ford vs Chevrolet vans?
I'm currently trying to buy a Van for my construction business needs. There are three brands which come to my mind, GMC, Ford, and Chevrolet. Which do you think it's better, GMC, Ford, or Chevrolet, in Vans category?
GMC and Chevrolet are pretty much the same truck. Both made by General Motors. Ford has just introduced a new line of "Transit" vans, and Nissan also has commercial vans that would meet your need. I suggest you turn off your computer and actually go visit a few new car dealers to see the vehicles you are asking about.
I have a 2007 GMC conversion van. I like it greatly.
If you intend to carry heavy loads then the choice would be Ford. But then it all depends on what Ford you pick. Something with a solid front axle would carry more and last longer, you won't find that in a GM.
I think they are all the same, if going with used. Have it inspected. TRy to go with new or low mileage since you have no idea of how well the previous owners took care of it.
- Which of the three truck company's last the longest? Ford, Chevy, or GMC? I'm 18 and my dad is getting me my first vehicle and wants me to drive a truck. Here in Texas drivers are a little crazy, lol. He's looking into trucks that are between the 10k-20k range. Which of the three last longest?
- Are Station wagons related to Mini Vans? I heard that the Ford D186 platform cars are Ford Windstar, Ford Taurus, and Mercury Sable. Because these three cars are on the exact same platform I think the Ford Taurus Station wagon model (1986-2007) is the smaller version of the Ford Windstar minivan. So are Station wagons a more smaller version of minivans (ex. Ford Taurus and Windstar)?
- Out of ford, GMC, Chevy and ram which is the best in safety, interior size and reliably? I want to get a tuck for my first vehicle but don't have any family who own any and most opinions on reviews are extremely bias.
- Getting a new vehicle: Dodge, GMC, Ford, or Infiniti? Ok, I need some help. I'm getting a new vehicle and right now my options are between: a '97 Ford F-150, an '01 Dodge Dakota Sport, a '92 GMC C/K 1500, and a '99 Infiniti QX4 SUV. All with 4x4 capability. Which do you think is the better vehicle overall, in fuel economy, and in terms of safety?
