Which of the three truck company's last the longest? Ford, Chevy, or GMC?

I'm 18 and my dad is getting me my first vehicle and wants me to drive a truck. Here in Texas drivers are a little crazy, lol. He's looking into trucks that are between the 10k-20k range. Which of the three last longest?

I've seen 300,000 to 400,000 on Chevy, Ford and GMC. I believe the one that last the longest is the one that is taken care of.

My family racked up over 450,000 miles on our old diesel F250 before my dad traded it. That was an 86 though.

I have a chevy silverado and it has been running strong since 2000. I can't speak for the others.

FORD was tested strongest and most comfy with best fuel mileage! The F-150 is the most popular truck in history! Have them running around with 300k miles and MORE no issues! GMC and CHEVY are the exact same thing! There are also DODGES, TOYOTAS NISSANS and more if you look! Depends on what you are hauling and how far! FORD usually has the largest pay loads!

There's no difference. And don't forget Toyota makes a full size, too.

GMC/Chevy's are proven to last longer, that's why they can advertise as the most durable, longest lasting truck on the road, because they are. You simply can't get the number of miles out of a Ford or a Dodge as you can a GM product truck. I have owned trucks from all three major manufacturers plus Toyota, but have not bought a new truck in 22 years. The reason… I bought a 93 Chevy k1500 in 11/92. I have put 271,000 miles on it with the same engine. The only major component replaced was the transmission at 185,000. Never did I ever get that kind of service,(and still getting it) from any other make.

American cars start leaking engine oil, leaving oily spots on a driveway after 5 years. Japanese cars/trucks Caron run 19 years without drop of oil in driveway. My Nissan Frontier is 10 y/o not a drop of oil in my driveway.
