Gender Studies: What was the actual point of the #KillAllMen twitter trend by feminists a few years back?

Good ol clementine ford and he hatred for men huh?

What did the whole twitter trend achieve other than making feminism look like what it is often labelled as. Man hating?

If you don't want feminism to be looked at as hating men, then wouldn't feminists avoid doing amd saying such things?

This just reinforces the truth, feminism is a full on anti male hate movement. They DO want men extinct!

To voice their aggrieved entitlements

"Gender Studies: What was the actual point of the #KillAllMen twitter trend by feminists a few years back?"

I don't know if anyone actually sat down with a stated and planned intention. What it did achieve was to normalize hatred against all men right into the feminist mainstream. For many of the radial Third Wave feminists this was probably a eureka moment where they found that they could shamelessly promote their open hatred of men and have other feminists go along with that.

For the rest of us, it just put modern feminism on display for it's complete lack of morals, focus and accountability. To this very day, there has been no challenge to #KillAllMen by mainstream feminism or any prominent feminists within the movement.

This is what feminism looks like.
.

To prove to the world that feminism is a man hating movement.

To give YAC a reason for one of her ALL CAPS feminist meltdown screeds when someone draws the logical inference from it.

Well the point was gender equality. If they #killedallmen then there would be equality among the remaining genders.

What makes you think the #KillAllMen trend had anything to do with feminists?
