Nissan Maxima vs Ford Fusion
Those who know about vehicles and can give a review! Please share, I'm debating in purchasing either a Used 2013 Nissan Maxima that has 87,000 vs a 2014 Ford Fusion both 4DR Sedan with 23,000. The price is pretty much at $ 12000 for either. Though being a college student is affordable but hard to make a right choice being a women who is naive about cars! Guys please leave some comments & reviews for this gal! I appreciate it!
Ford
WTF never a Ford
They are both potential very reliable automobiles. Choose the one the seller can show you full and complete proof of all service and maintenance receipts. That's the winner.
Nissan is a much better quality and yet it has a lot more miles… And yet still i would reach for the nissan.
Get a Tesla
1st place to look in at the edmunds.com site - they have xlnt reviews, pricing, etc… 2nd would be to have a mechanic do a complete inspection on the vehicle you choose BEFORE you buy it
I need points
You need a Ford Fusion 1 because they are easier to maintain 2 cheaper to maintain 3 lower miles so more than warranty for you and they both seat the same amount of people so Ford Fusion is your best friend
Stay away from the Ford, direct injection engine and dual clutch transmission are both no-gos, unreliable and expensive to fix and the old sync electronics are problematic too.
Why don't you just buy a new car? If you are a college student do you really need to show off with a big old car?
Same price, go with the low miles. But there are other choices. Honda, Toyota, Mazda.
- Which car is the overall to keep for a couple of yrs? 1999 Nissan maxima, 1999 Altima, 2006 ford Taurus or 2002 buick lesabre? All of them have low mileage as the Taurus have 69000 and the maxima have the highest of 123000. They all under 1100 bucks.
- Should I trade my 2014 Nissan Maxima base for a 2011 Ford Mustang Base sports package? It would be a even trade. The Mustang has the Mustang sports package with includes pipes, and a upgraded engine. Any suggestions. I would be trading a 2014 for something that is older, but better. My maxima has a sunroof, and power seats, and the Mustang doesn't.
- Can a 2012 Nissan Rogue tow a 1999 Ford Mustang? I'm moving to California and have two cars. I plan on driving the Rogue and towing the Mustang, but I don't know much about cars and their limits. If I rented a trailer and put the car in there would that make it easier for the rogue to tow?
- Acura TSX, Ford Fusion, or Nissan Altima? My aunt would like to get a newer car and these are the three she's considering. We're looking at 2012-2014 models.
