Maguire's Headlight Restoration sucks ***! Do the rest of their products suck *** too?
Bought a little kit of that stuff for my aunts 2011 ford fusion and I did every step correctly. (Cleaned, Sanded, then apploed clear coat. Later the next morning, it turned really foggy, worst than the beginning and I tried to remove it with alcohol and that made things worse. After I got all of it off I cleaned it again and apploed the clear coat. SAME THING. It just sucked ***. I recommend you never buy the headlight restoration from maguires. Hope the rest of their products don't suck
Very carefully use brake fluid to remove the haze. Don't get brake fluid on the paint. I've heard some use toothpaste, I use Comet cleanser
Maybe you should call the people that make it and tell them your experience with it
- Why is doug ford suck a ****? Seriously?! I just found out that he made changes to the ohip plan that screws myself and a lot of people over. How the hell did he get a single vote. He doesn't care about anything but his booze
- For a restoration, what major parts of a car do I need to look into pricing and buying? I have a Ford 1967 Fastback Mustang with literally nothing "mechanical". I'm making a list/guideline of what I need to complete the restoration, What I need to know is what major parts of the car I need to buy.
- 1969 Mustang Restoration? I'm looking to restore an old muscle car. Something not too difficult, and I'm trying to keep the process relatively cheap. I was thinking about something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/...mp;vxp=mtr. Can someone give me a price estimate it would take for this car, for a nice interior/ exterior and full working motor? And time?
- Is a joint venture car, like Geos, Vibes, Saturns/Honda, Ford/Mazda or Chrysler/Mitsubishi products rice burner or not? Geos and Vibes were GM/Japanese joint ventures and I read some Chryslers had Mitsubishi parts. Some Saturns had Honda engines. I think Mazda built some cars for Ford or some such, so in my family we called Mazda Japanese Fords, once. However, the cars carried Geo (later Chevy), Pontiac, Saturn, Chrysler (or one of its divisions) or Ford (not sure if Mazda made any cars for their Lincoln-Mercury division) badging.
