1969 Mustang Restoration?
I'm looking to restore an old muscle car. Something not too difficult, and I'm trying to keep the process relatively cheap. I was thinking about something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/...6f&vxp=mtr. Can someone give me a price estimate it would take for this car, for a nice interior/ exterior and full working motor? And time?
If what he says is true and you want a 69 coupe, one of the least desirable 60's Mustangs… Then this is a good start, expect to spend about 2-5K on interior, 5-10K on mechanicals/electric, 2-5K on body and a year of nights and weekends and about 10K for things you can't handle yourself… Or in a couple months time you dump about 5K into interior and paint, repair some of the mechanical/electrical and have a driver.
Coupes are for fun, restore a gt fastback. The cost to restore a coupe and fastback is nearly the same…
Having done one concourse restore on a mopar and helped several people with their toys… There's no cheap car to restore. Buy one that's done that's cheapest and the least time consuming.
look into Mustang clubs in your area,

That price is seriously wrong. Five grand? I've seen rust buckets sell for more then that, because they have a solid VIN & a clean title. Keep looking & you'll see…

- How much should a 1969 Ford mustang cost? I'm looking to buy a 1969 Ford Mustang, but the prices seem to vary a lot and id like to pay on the lower side, but how low would be too good to be true? If I paid 25k for one could it be in good condition or is it likely that it needs repairs?
- For a restoration, what major parts of a car do I need to look into pricing and buying? I have a Ford 1967 Fastback Mustang with literally nothing "mechanical". I'm making a list/guideline of what I need to complete the restoration, What I need to know is what major parts of the car I need to buy.
- How much is a stock all original 1969 ford f100 worth? Its all original with a 360 V8, three speed on the tree manual transmission, 2 barrel carb. I mean nothing has been changed besides the gas and oil. The color is faded blue, there's no rust in the cab or in the bed. A little surface rust but no holes.
