Is this a good lease deal?
Its for a new 2015 Ford Fusion SE. I will pay $300 at signing and 288 a month thereafter for 23 more months. With 10,500 allowed miles per year. I'm new to leaseing and can afford it but want to make sure I'm getting a deal.
Leasing is for businesses to smooth cash flow and claim the expense off tax it is a very expensive way to run a car privately as you will be paying 7k+ and be left with nothing
If you are 100 % positive that you will not drive over the 10500 limit + you don't mind paying the registration fees along with the 300 at signing, then go ahead… Leasing in my opinion is a waste… It's the same as renting a vehicle but more expensive
A good lease is like a good gunshot wound.
Aint no such thing.
And a 2 year lease is even dumber than a 3-4 year lease.
You'll have to keep up on all maintenance along with paying for any damage to the car that insurance won't cover. And of course what are they going to charge per mile after that 10.500 miles that can add up fast. My two cents buy don't lease
Assuming the monthly payment rolls in all of your taxes and fees, I think this is fair.
You will pay about $7K to rent a car for 2 years. That's reasonable. Just make sure you take care of it and don't go over on the miles or they will nickel and dime you to death when you turn it in.
I'm not a big fan of leasing, but understand it works for some people. You may want to see how much your note would be to buy the car for 48-60 months. It may still be affordable, but you don't have to worry about the restrictions of leasing and you will eventually have equity.
Why do you want to lease a car in the first place? What is it about a 2 year lease that is attractive to you? You will have tight restrictions on what you can do with the car (10.5K miles is a joke, most people drive at least 12K a year in their cars, and that's not considering doing any long distance travel by car), and no equity whatsoever.
Leasing is for people, frankly, with more money than brains. And, only idiots are fixated on what their monthly payment is, without considering the total cash out of their pockets, relative to the benefits that they're paying for.

- Is this a good deal on this car? Okay, so my dad totaled my grandma's 1999 Ford Taurus and this is the closest thing I could find to what she had. My grandma doesn't drive much so the vehicle's age doesn't matter really but she still wants a car to drive around in. My local Mazda dealer is selling this 2008 Mazda5 with 92,567 miles for $8,980. Is this a good deal?

- Is this a good deal for a 1974 ford ltd? The car looks great in person, and the guy seems very trustworthy. Selling for $4,500. I'm looking for something reliable but still has some mojo and comfort.
