How should i sell this car for/what would you pay?
Red 2008 Ford fusion V6-cylinder (or whatever) needs a fuel pump & it has a dent in the drivers car door, it also needs a fuel pump.
my friend is trying to sell her old car since she now has a new one and we're trying to figure out a good price to sell it for that would be fair.

$100 seems fair, for the scrap metal.
Look at kellys blue book and deduct for the repairs and condition

Fix it to get it running properly first. It is worth far less to a potential buyer if it doesn't run or runs very poorly.
I would give $200 for it for the following reasons.
-American cars are not as well-built and reliable as a comparable Japanese car.
-This particular vehicle was owned by a woman which means there's a high probability it was poorly maintained and driven aggressively.
You'd be lucky to get a grand.
Take 700 if you can get it.
- If you have enough money, can you have a new classic car built? Like can I pay to have ford build me a 1970 Mustang? Lets say I don't want to buy an old car and restore it, I want a 1970 but straight off the factory line. Can you have a car built with the old style frame, engine, trans, etc?
