How can I fix my car lights?
I have a 2008 Ford Fusion. My driver side rear light stopped working. The turn signal, brake and hazard. The turn signal sound is also extra fast. I tried two new bulbs and it still isn't working. I was going to check the fuse but I couldn t find a fuse in my car manual for it. Would it be called turn signal or brake fuse? I looked at the wires leading to the bulb socket and they all looked ok. Nothing loose. Does anyone know what else I can check?
Use a multi meter and trace the power.
Start at the lamp and work backwards.
When an entire light assembly quits working the best place to look is the internal ground strap in the light itself. The possibility of several power supply all going bad simultaneously is slim. But if that ground strap is broken of the screw fell out then the entire light assembly won't work.
Yes possibly the fuse, try googling location of the light fuse. But before you go through that trouble try giving couple hard patts on the right maybe it will work. Worked for me once haha
If the other side works it's not a fuse. Both sides run on the smae fuse. You either bought the wrong bulbs, have a bad socket or the wiring is bad.
- Why are my blink lights / brake lights working? I have a 72 Ford f100 and the rear left turn signal, brake ligh, hazard light isn't working. The light workings for "running lights " but does not blink or light up when I press the brake. I replaced the bulb. I don't know where to start
- 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
- Headlights, instrument cluster lights, tail lights, and dome light all stopped working at once? 1995 Mustang GT convertible, fuses are good, switch is good. I'm about to do a voltage drop test on it tomorrow but I wanted to see if you Ford guys knew something that I'm overlooking.
