Ford Galaxy 2001 2.3 petrol window problem?
All the window will only work from the drivers door but not individually
The drivers switch has a child lock on it but it doesn't make any difference if it's on or off.
Any help would be appreciated.
Probably something in the wiring harness. A child lock usually only affects the rear windows, but it's worth checking the switch with an ohmmeter.
That, s what happens with dodge electrics. Sounds like an open wire or a poor earth
- 2001 Ford Ranger window problems? I have a 2001 Ford Ranger and the drivers side window will not let down but there's a sound coming from the dash, but the passengers side window works fine. What could be wrong with this?

Then one day I tried to let the driver side window down it wouldn't move no buz nor did the window look like it was trying to move. What's crazy is the passenger side started working. - I have a ford 2001 ford Galaxy 2.3 petrol needing Electric Windows will only work from the the drivers side. I checked the wiring within the doors and repaired any broken wires but still nothing. The drivers switch has a child lock for the window but this doesn't make a difference if on or off. Is the anything els I can check? Could it be the drivers switch at fault? - How to undo bolts on Ford Galaxy 2003 Front & Rear brake caliper to renew disc's and pads? I need to renew the disc's and pads at the front and rear of Ford Galaxy 2003. I have the correct sockets and a large extension bar, but they will not budge (front or rear). I have tried WD40, thinking of trying a little heat, but its a bit near to the brake hoses. All suggestions gratefully received. I have a full workshop manual on this car issued by Ford which just says that they are tightened to 190Nm. The front bolts are huge 27mm and the rear bolts are 18mm.
