Ford, Dodge, and GM Trucks?

Can someone please tell what the pros/cons or positives and negatives of owning a ford truck, GM truck, and A Dodge truck (Chrysler)? Can someone list out what the major and minor problems with each of the trucks? Can someone explain the issues with each truck? Can someone tell me their own opinion and maybe a few facts about each truck? Which one of the trucks have major problems which last longer and which drive better? Can someone tell whether each truck has more mechanical or electrical problems? Can someone tell which truck is better for everyday drivers and which are good for work and play? All answers appreciated!

In fact, any one of those three will make you a great truck that will probably out live most people. Many people have a brand preference - I like my Fords, but they all make good stuff. So, suggest you look more for a dealer with a good rep & buy what he sells, as you'll have more interaction with the dealer then with the manufacturer. Ask you friends about how they were treated by the dealer & pick the best one around.

We when form a 1983 chevy good shape fair in gas to a 2006 Dodge ram hemi, love it 124000 miles ans still going strong 20 miles to the gal, average 17. I have driven other makes of newer ones, still would buy a new dodge if the money was there

I'm partial to the Dodge Ram, but that's just me. Think about what you're going to use it for. Just driving? Towing a camper? Offroading? Ram has a great ride, gets good milage, and lots of power, but if you're pulling a camper, get a Ford. You just have to do research and see which is best for your particular needs. Take your time, check 'em out, and don't just go for the pretty one!
