What type of maintenance should I be gettinf on my car?
I drive a 2 year old Ford Focus, with 37,000 miles on it. Other than my basic oil changes that I've been getting, what type of maintanence should I have done at my next appointment? I don't know hardly anything about cars, so I don't want to go to the shop and get the run around. All that I know, is it should be time for some type of tune up or maintenance.
Fords usually come with a maintenance booklet in addition to the recommendations in the Owners Manual. There's precious little to do on a vehicle with just 37,000 miles - besides visual inspections of brakes, exhaust and such - it MAY be time for a fuel filter or air filter. My Fords don't require spark plugs or transmission fluid changes until 100,000 miles (although I do it earlier than that) and first cooling system service at 5 years.
Check the service manual to see what Ford recommends.

- What type of Chevy car should I buy? I drive a Ford truck and have never even drove a car. I want a Chevrolet car. It can't be any other kind just Chevy, I just really love their look and symbol. Should I get an Impala, Cruze, Cobalt, or Malibu? And what year(between 2006-2013)?
- What oil type should I use on a 68 ford galaxie xl? I went to the auto store to ask but it wouldn't come up on his computer. He suggested 10w-30 so I bought a jug, but I want to double check before I put it in my car.
- Should my friend get the 2017 Type R or the 2015 200 S? He wants a fast, reliable car. He had a Ford, and Chevy and he had horrible experience with them. He likes both cars since they have 300 Horse power. But which of the 2 is more fuel efficient?
