What radio set up should I️ use in my '13 Ford Focus se?

A couple weeks ago, I️ bought a 2013 Ford Focus SE. The radio had a popping issue and the dealer said it was no problem and they would replace it. They informed me that they could not get an OEM Head unit to replace it, so they used a Metra dash kit. The kit looks fine, but they put a cheap blaupunkt receiver in it, which I️ am very upset about. Aside from that issue, the sync screen at the top of the dashboard that used to show the song information, time ect. Doesn't show anything but the time anymore. Is it possible for me to get a double-DIN receiver with a touch screen, AND have it link to the sync screen? Also, can I️ still use the steering wheel controls? And if all else fails, is there any way I️ can just get an oem head unit again?

  • Can't set Ford Mustang Radio to even decimal such as 101.4? I'm not able to set my radio to an even decimal, in other words the decimal place jumps odd numbers not even numbers. When i use the seek button or dial it just from 101.1 to 101.3 to 101.5… But can set the last decimal to even numbers. 101.2, 101.4 or 101.6
  • Can i still use steering wheel controls with an aftermarket radio? I was thinking about buying an aftermarket radio for my 06 ford fusion because i want Bluetooth, USB and aux. I do love using the audio controls on the steering wheel, and i was going to go best buy to see what they can do, but i was just wondering if you can still use them, or its possible to do so, with an aftermarket stereo?

  • Should I buy a Ford Focus Zx3 or should I look for a different car? I'm a male going to college as a sophmore next semester (this car will be my first car). Should I buy a stick or an automatic (I don't know how to drive a stick at the moment, but I'm willing to learn)? What do you think would be more fun? Do you think a ford focus Zx3 is a good car for me or do you have any other car suggestions?
