What are some upgrades I can make to my car?
I have a 2012 Ford Focus SEL hatchback. I really don't know much about cars and I'm wanting to make some upgrades, like performance and visual. I know a lot of people upgrade the exhaust system, is that something I should consider? Any ideas or good websites would be greatly appreciated.
Most "upgrades" are simply noise makers. The extra power you get by fitting a loud exhaust to a standard motor are basically too small to notice, except to your neighbours and the cops, and both will be annoyed.
If you want faster, and have money burning a hole in your pocket, then sell the SEL and buy a ST with the turbocharged engine, and almost 100 more hp.
Otherwise you are just wasting your money on upgrades that actually DE-value the car.
- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.
- Can bald tires make your car pull to the right? In my car Haynes Manuel they say it could be caused by bald tires, alignment, or other things i never hit no curves or anything, ever since my tires got bald on the sides, its been shaking at highway speeds and pulling to the right. My tires are bald on the saides but still have trend in the middle of the tires. I'm getting new tires today and balanced for free, will that be enough to fix my problem? Ford Taurus 1996 GL

- Where can I make a model car of my car? I have a 2010 Ford Mustang and I want to make a toy model car of it. I don't know if it's even possible but if it is I would really like to know. Please and thank you!
