What are some high seating cards?
I'm looking for a car since I'll start driving this year. I'm 6 feet tall so I feel more comfortable being high up like in a suv or truck but the gas on SUVs and trucks are so much. So I was wondering what type of cars are a good fit me (ex. Ford Focus, Nissan Altima, etc.)
I drive a 2009 Kia Rondo and I'm 6' 2", and I fit into any seat in the car with perfect comfort.
In fact, when I leave the driver's seat in the appropriate position for myself, I can then get into the back seat on the driver's side, and I have *excess* legroom behind the driver's seat.
I grant that the fact that Kia took the Rondo out of the US market in terms of new car sales might be a problem, but there should still be gently used ones out there. Well worth the look.
To get the upright seating position you're talking about in a sedan is tough. Especially a small sedan. Cars are designed so your feet are out in front of you. A truck is made so your feet are underneath you.
E only cs I known that would offer that seating posion would be something
Like the KIA Soul, Chevy HHR, and the old PT Cruisers.
I would look for a small SUV like a Honda CR-V or a Toyota RAV4
- Why does my car rev high all the time and drive without me touching the gas? It revs at stop lights and when sitting idle at drive throughs, and when I'm driving highway speed. It'll rev up to almost 3000 rpms especially in idle. It is a ford Taurus 2005 with 99,700 mi on it.
- What are some good things to do to my 2007 Ford V6 Mustang to get some more power and performance? I want to get more power and better performance out of my V6 and no I don't want to trade up for a V8. I inherited this car and its paid off and only has 11,000 miles on it. Not to mention sentimental value so please leave your hate for V6s for someone else. I just want to know some cost effective ways to get more out of my stang. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
- Pennzoil High Mileage vs Castrol GTX High Mileage? My local auto store has 5 quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage for 16.99, but 5 quarts of Castrol GTX High Mileage on sale for 9.99$. Which one is better, or does it not even matter and I should just get the cheaper one? It's going in a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with 155*** miles on it.
- High Revs on highway normal? I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with the DOHC Zetec engine. I was just wondering if having the motor run at about 3000 RPMs going 70 mph is normal and if this is hurting the engine? It just seems really high, especially when it down shifts and goes to about 4700 RPM when I go up some hils. Also, where is the red line on this engine? The cluster doesn't indicate where it is.
