Depends. Probably IS though those are great cars

+++++++I have a 2000 Focus. It runs well, all I have done is replace the parts that DO wear out, no matter what the car. (brakes, tires, starter, battery, etc.)
Tell the seller you want to take it to your mechanic to look at it.
If the seller balks at the idea, walk away from the deal.

I tend to FAVOR the FORD line-ups p[personally! They MNOW are suitable for EUREOPAN AUTOBAHn use, and are SAFE and lovable! The FOCUS is the NUMBER ONW seller int eh WORLD! THey are SIMPLE to own and comfy too! I lvoe doign what I have called BLUEPRINTING< or AUTO RESURRECTION. THsi means returngin a neglected car BACK to showroom running! I ALSO favor ANYTHING from EUROPE< but for $900, I woudl JUMP onit>>>BUT>>> only if you get a THOROUGH inspection of ther SUSPENSION< and the UNDER BODY for signs of rusting! They ahvve GRAT road manners as well! Get a new set of FUEL EFFICENT tires from MICHELIN< YOKOHAMA, or CONTINENTAL or even KUMHO to save on GAS and be SAFEr in bad weather! Get a set of ICE TIRES for the front for winter as well!
