Tough job to do at home. You need a spring compressor. That can be very dangerous, if you haven't used one. Take it to a shop.
Shocks can be tricky. Your car has struts all the way around I believe and realistically if you have leaking shocks, you should just replace the strut assemblies entirely, however not everyone can afford $150-$250 for just one assembly I know this.
So a lot of people just vote to get a new shock instead. But in doing so, the whole strut assembly has to come out, then you need spring compressors to pull back on the springs and loosen the large retainer nut at the top of the assembly which holds everything together.
Then you remove the old shock and insert the new shock, although this would also be a good time to check the condition of the upper mount. If it is tearing up, replace it as well. Then putting it all back together is the reverse of taking it all out.
