Ford focus TDCI 2007 won't start?

I had a blowing injector on my focus and decided to replace the part. I followed my Haynes manual and managed to complete the job with ease. Issue is that I didn't disconnect the battery like it said. Now the issue is that the car won't start as I think the engine management is saying there's a fault on the fuel system. I don't know what to do now I've tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting so it re-starts the engine management system but it didn't work!

It sounds like the fuel system has lost its prime. Is there a primer pump or a squeeze type ball on the filter housing? You may want to remove the fuel filter and make sure it is full of diesel or it will never start.
