Ford focus mileage problem?

My ford focus 2003 reg 1.6 the mileage goes up to about 4 miles and then it resets itself also the petrol needle drops to nothing any ideas?

Hi Time to take to a ford dealer sounds like a body module issue which is one of the many computers this car has built in.

Car acceleration problem and idle problem. The car is a 2003 Ford Taurus? . When the car is running and in parked its making a loud consisted rev noise. However the rpm needle thingy is not moving. when i'm in drive the car acclerates on its own with the speed ever increasing. i did some googling and learned that it can be the TPS sensor or the idle air intake valve, among a million other possiblities.
Pennzoil High Mileage vs Castrol GTX High Mileage? My local auto store has 5 quarts of Pennzoil High Mileage for 16.99, but 5 quarts of Castrol GTX High Mileage on sale for 9.99$. Which one is better, or does it not even matter and I should just get the cheaper one? It's going in a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS with 155*** miles on it.
My 2008 2 door ford focus has started to sputter and shake.what could the problem be? At first it started shaking then a couple days later, it started to sputter. I want to take it in but scared they will charge me a fortune on other things that aren't really the problem. Any advice?
Ford Focus Mk1 wiper stalk problem? When i push the wiper stalk down to do a single wipe it won't finish the full wipe unless i hold it and then release it at the end of the sequence. Its extremely frustrating and have tried everything that i can think of. I have replaced the stalk and still the problem is there. am i missing something?
