Ford focus cranking but not starting?
I have a 2009 1.6 tdci Ford focus econectic that I replaced the engine in and have been driving for the past year and a half with no problem.
Recently i got a check engine light and a few minutes later it died and would crank but wouldn't start. When I scanned it, it gave a code for the bank 1 exhaust gas temperature sensor which on inspection had completely broken in half. I changed that and it still wouldn't start so I scanned it again and its giving the code P0033 for the turbo bypass control valve cercuit, but as far as I know a faulty valve wouldn't stop the car starting and I only changed the charged air unit so I think it's part if a bigger problem. A couple of months ago I got an airbag light on the dash board and when I scanned it I gave a code U0073- control module communication bus off. But the light went off after a few minutes and I haven't seen it since with no problems until now. I hear these cars give terrible wiring problems?

- 1994 Ford Ranger, Rough Cranking When Engine Is Warm/Hot? - 1994 Ford Ranger - 2.3l Engine - 110k Miles My truck has been having problems cranking when the engine is warmed up/hot. When the engine is cold or hasn't been started for like 2-3hours, it will start right up. I have a few ideas of what it may be, but I would like others opinions also. - ECT Sensor? - ICM? - Crank Sensor? Those are the three I have thought of that could be causing a problem with my situation.
- Starter stays engaged but doesn't keep cranking? I have a 1965 Ford mustang and when I start the car it starts up and the starter stops pushing the motor over but the starter its self won't disengage from the flywheel. Anybody have any ideas why this could be happening?
- I need a battery for a 1988 Ford Msutang LX, hasn't ran in 16 years and I just want to get it cranking again? Hasn't ran in 16 years, and I want to at least get it raining again Mustang 5.0 8 cylinder, convertible. Looking for something cheap to start off with.
- I too having similar problem with car radio it's not asking for code but not picking up stations? It shows the radio station number but doesn't tune into it I've tried all sorts you can her it searching for station but just doesn' find it. Tried menu button TA settings even manually. It did work just recently bought car haven't got manual I think I pressed something & lost channels. It's RDS 5000 ford ka radio any suggestions?
