AUX button on key fob for 08 Ford Focus SES?
Just got the car, and I'm not sure what it does. I also know there's a wire coming from my rearview mirror that looks like it is for an antenna or even an alarm perhaps? Any ideas?
An aux button is generally for "other" features… It can be programmed for an alarm, yes
Are you not able to read the car manual? Nothing should be exposed on the rear view mirror. I suggest that you take the car to a mechanic as to that wire. Reading the car manual should be the first thing new car owners MUST BE asked to do, not to reach for the smartphone.
- On my 2004 ford fusion my fob don't work the alarm sounds soon as I put the key into the door and turn it? If I pull the central locking fuse out the alarm stops so it's drivable but was wondering what could be doing it as I was thought to believe if I put the key into the ignition the alarm should stop but it don't any ideas would be most appreciated
- Ford mondeo boot won't open off of dash button or boot handle but will from key fob? I have a 2001 ford mondeo estate and I can't get the boot to open from the dash button or the boot handle but I can from the key fob by double pressing it. I have tried removing the dash burron and reconnecting it with no success this seems to be a common problem on this car yet nobody seems to know the cause
- Ford key fob replacement I have lost my Ford car key and was wondering if anyone knows of a cheap way of getting it replacement without spending a fortune doing it through Ford? I still have the second key, I have added a pic of the key type I have. My car is a 2012 model.
- Why does my car have an aux button but no aux jack? I have a 2007 ford focus and I have an aux button in my car but I don't see an aux jack anywhere, why is that? Or is it hiding somewhere?
