2001 ford focus passenger wheel?
I ran over something going about 60 mph on the passenger side. The wheel is now tilted outward just enough to be noticeable. Is it a broken control arm? Or strut? It was hit hard enough to engage the fuel pump cut off switch so something must be broken.
My guess is the strut mount has corroded, a fairly common problem in Focuses, or the strut is just plain bent/broken. If you take your car to any shop that does front end work as a major line of business you can get a free visual inspection and estimate. It is not a scam; it is how they get most of their customers. People who suspect they have problems bring their cars in and most of tehm are right… Something is wrong. The visual inspection just takes a few minutes and allows the shop to give a meaningful estimate. Just good business.
- My buddy has a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that is leaking oil from rear passenger wheel. Any ideas on why? The brake cover is not pushed all the way against the hub. There's a half inch gap between them. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. So it has nothing to do with the wheel bearing?
- What is that noise coming from the passenger side of my 2014 Ford Focus st? I'm hearing a metallic rubbing sound coming from the passenger side. Almost like an air leak, but more of a light metal rubbing. But I guess it could be anything. Louder with higher acceleration. Not related to wheel speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
- I have a 02 ford focus and both passenger and drivers windows are not woring. Could it be the fuse? When I try all the switches there's nothing. I have had a window problem before and it was just one window and you could hear the motor but no action. This time both windows don't work and can't even hear the motor trying. If it's the fuse I have no idea which is for the winDow. I have fuses under glove compartment and in bonnet?
- Ford Focus 2004 Passenger side mirror unattached? The passenger side mirror fell off, does anyone know quick ways to temporarily reattach, even in the cold? It's only holding by a few wires. Would it damage it if I were to drive it with it hanging? (Currently an average of 20 degrees Fahrenheit)
