How much damage does snow cause a 2011 Ford Mustang?
I'm thinking about purchasing a Ford Mustang 2011 but it spent two years in New Jersey and Ohio then came to California. From car owners in the east how much does snow damage your cars?
Snow is not the damage. SALT to free the roads of ice is deadly to steel.
I doubt very much that a rear wheel drive Mustang was driven very little in the snow. Snow will not damage a car it is the salt they put on the roads that does the damage. Look around for any rust on the fender liners, door sills, and rocker panels. If you see none then it is more than likely fine.
It doesn't.
The snow itself DOESN't hurt a vehicle, its the SALT and chemicals they put on the roads in OH. And N.J. That does all the damage. Look under it for rust and corrosion before you buy it.
Salted roads encourage rust.
Run!
- Are Ford Mustangs bad in the snow? I live in Pennsylvania where the winters have been bad recently with snow, ice, etc. How are these cars in the snow? I currently have a Camry and was thinking of getting a recent model Mustang convertible.
- How much do snow tires cost? I need to start putting some money aside to get snow tires for my new car for this winter, so I just wanted to know about how much that's gonna run me. I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS
- Will I cause any damage if I use my manual fuel cutoff/shutdown as a throttle while I investigate why my actual throttle is stuck at full Had my cav rotary injection pump fixed on a diesel Ford tractor. The throttle is not operating correctly (stays at full throttle), is it going to hurt anything to use my manual fuel cutoff as a throttle while I investigate the issue.
- Does revving a 2003 ford f-150 with 61,000 miles up to 5000 revs cause any damage or hurt it? My foot slipped from the floor because I was reaching for something in the back seat, when my foot slipped off the floor and hit the gas pedal and revved it up to about 5000 revs, I'm wondering if it did any damage or will in the future, it seems to run good now however
